CURRENT OPENING - Contract Manager for Correctional/Detention Facility

Full time, dedicated security manager for a facility with operational capacity of 800+ detainees. Manager will have complete authority to act on behalf of the company in managing a workforce of several hundred armed and unarmed security personnel.

Duties of Contract Manager:

1. Directs and manages administrative staff
2. Plans and implements recruiting, screening and hiring of security officers
3. Ensure full scheduling of all contract hours
4. Produces clear and accurate billing and payroll data
5. Oversees the training program
6. Ensure full contract compliance
7. Directs investigations of incidents and accidents
8. Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and upgrading the quality control plan
9. Fully understand all aspects of the contract operation Requirements:

Qualifications for Contract Manager

Must have either completed a four year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree with a major in any field of study, or have substantial and credible law enforcement, military or business management experience that demonstrates the individual’s capacity to effectively manage a large security guard contract.

This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience. Specialized experience is defined as having experience with: Project development and implementation from idea inception to deployment; Management, funding and resource control using complex reporting mechanisms/systems; Managing multi-task contracts or subcontracts of various types and complexity; and Corrections, Military or Law Enforcement training and experience.

Experience in corrections management is desired.

Locations:

Candidates must be located in, or be willing to relocate to the locale of the contract. Contract opportunities may be available in El Paso, TX; Port Isabel, TX; and Batavia, NY.

Compensation:

Salary will be commensurate with experience and appropriate to the location of the contract.
